Technically Qnap also make 100GbE based rackmount NAS. But I can see SNS have some bespoke software than can be handy for video editors.
If you get a SNS solution, you will need to make sure it is regularly backed up. RAID inside this box will ensure redundancy only.
There are few way you can back it up.

Or mapping your SNS shared folders on the Qnap File station and setting up automated backups from those shared folders
You can also manually drag and drop files from SNS to a Qnap to create backups.
The speed of the backup will depend on the connection you use. Connecting via 10GbE will be faster than 1gbe connections etc.
I would recommend any Qnap Xeon rackmount for 10gbe speeds. Or anything weaker like Celeron-based boxes for 1GbE backups.
