There will be no significant difference in performance between these two RPMs. But you will notice more noise generated. Using a couple of SSD besides HDD would however speed up your OS and apps. Many people use two bays for SSD to set up the NAS. The other two bays for HDDs and less frequently accessed data. There is no wrong way to set this up. For simple home use, you can fill all bays with WD Red plus drives in SHR.
