Hi. With these ever increasing prices for SSD's I am looking for a replacement to my Seagate IronWolf Pro 8 To (ST8000NT001) on my synology NAS DS124. It is too noisy but moreover struggles to serve 2 users (If my girlfriend has a daily backup going on, I barely can navigate DSM!)
My usage is mostly daily backups, 4k rips hosting and a few docker images. i just need it reliabnle enough to last 5 years or so until DS124 doesn't get anymore updates from synology and needs to be able to stay reactive with 2-3 simultaneous users. Thanks
