The good news is that the DS225 Plus is not strict about RAM in the same way the older DS220 Plus or DS920 Plus were. Synology still recommends their official module, but third party RAM works fine as long as it’s the correct type.
Your NAS needs DDR4, 2666MHz, 260 pin SODIMM, non ECC, unbuffered.
It will also happily downclock faster sticks, so buying 2666MHz or 3200MHz is perfectly fine.
The module you found (2400MHz) usually also works, but it’s older and not ideal when 2666/3200 are the same price.
The most stable 4GB third party modules people use in the DS225 Plus are:
Crucial 4GB DDR4 2666 SODIMM (CT4G4SFS8266)

Kingston 4GB DDR4 2666 SODIMM (KVR26S19S6/4)
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Kingston+4GB+...=ncmail-20
Both are reliable, inexpensive, and widely used in Synology models without issues.
Synology Photos face recognition will run perfectly with 6GB total RAM, and you don’t need to spend 166€ on the official module unless you want full warranty purity.
