I would like to build a NAS that is 10gb SFP+, that can support 4K uhd ripped movies and other personal files. Ideally it would support ecc for extra protection. I have an Intel i7-7700k and i have maxed out that cpu when copying files to/from the nas. I’m power conscious as i would like to run it 24/7 unless you think i can create some automation with Wake on LAN. I also have an Intel Arc A310 ECO and A380 FOR AV1 transcoding. I also have an ATX power supply, 10gb pcie card, and nvme.2 ssd pcie card that i can reuse.
