You actually do not need a PCIe WiFi card inside the NAS at all. The simplest and most compatible solution is to connect any normal WiFi router or WiFi mesh node to the NAS using the LAN port. The router acts as the wireless bridge, and the NAS just sees a normal wired connection. This works with every QNAP model, requires no drivers, and avoids the limitations of internal WiFi cards.
