With six 12TB IronWolf Pro drives in RAID 6, you’ll have roughly 40TB usable space and solid redundancy. The Samsung 990 EVO Plus drives are fine for caching, though the 990 PRO would give better endurance if you expect heavy Docker or Jellyfin workloads.
The 32GB of DDR5 you’ve chosen is ideal for your use case, especially since you’ll be running Jellyfin and several Docker apps. For media management and the Arr stack, this configuration gives you plenty of headroom.
In terms of networking, link aggregation isn’t strictly necessary since the DXP6800 Pro already has high-speed ports. However, if you’re running multiple simultaneous users with transcoding and remote access, enabling aggregation across your 10GbE switch can smooth out throughput spikes and balance connections more efficiently. It’s a nice-to-have rather than a must-have.
