ello everyone!
I've just started my journey into the NAS (Network Attached Storage) world.
I picked up a TerraMaster F4-424 and successfully installed and initialized it with two brand new hard drives.
However, I've hit a major roadblock while trying to set up my storage, and I could really use some expert insight!
The Problem:
When I checked the drive status in the TOS, it sees both of my 2 drives (both showing as empty), but only one of them is listed as "Good." The second drive has no status information at all.

My Question:
Based on this sequence of events (stalled volume creation, failed pool creation at 10%, and one drive having no status), does this sound like a TOS software/firmware issue or a hardware problem with the second hard drive?
Any advice on how to proceed with troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated!

The Problem:
- I initially tried to create a Volume, but nothing happened—no progress, no errors, just silence.
- I then tried to create a Storage Pool first. This finally started an initialization process, but it stopped abruptly at 10% with a frustrating popup: "The operation completed successfully."
- Despite this message, no storage pool was actually created!
