I am very old, not technical and need help with my Asustor Nas (Win 11 file explorer shows as AS3302Tv2-C905)
Does NASCompares (which i assume is in UK) still take quries or provide a service ?
Situation: I am just a small home user; installed and had fully working Drivestor 2 Pro Gen2 -April 2025;
THEN: (i think following a MS Win update) i lost win file explorer access to my data; and access to asustor ADMasustor (Asus tech support were great and got Asus control centre working again so i can access the their NAS again thru ADM! BUT i still cannot access via WIN file explorer so i was directed to MS tech supportg. MS, also great, determined the problem displayed IE " this user account has expired" was from the SMB server (i am now out of my depth) provided by the Asustor installation (which may have been corrupted with a Win Upate); so back to Asustor who ask me to check the ADM SMB is ticked (which it is) and for the SMB version ... i am now drowning.... Where do i go??
