Getting around Synology restrictions and verified drive list

That said, keep in mind that bypassing the official verified drive list might void your warranty or lead to compatibility issues down the line. Synology’s verified list exists to ensure that the drives are fully compatible and reliable with their NAS systems, and using unsupported drives can sometimes lead to unexpected behavior, especially with firmware updates.
