Unfortunately, you're not the first to mention issues getting proper business documentation from Terramaster’s EU store. They’ve made some improvements lately, but VAT invoices still seem to be a weak spot, especially if you're trying to handle it officially for business accounting.
If you do go ahead with the return and want something a little more polished (and with better support), here are a few suggestions that could suit your needs and budget:
QNAP TS-664 – 6 bays, great for Plex (with hardware transcoding), solid performance for file sharing. Around €750-850.
Synology DS1621+ – Also 6 bays, more focused on reliability and data protection than media features. Very solid for business use. About €900–1000.
Asustor Lockerstor 6 Gen2 (AS6706T) – Similar specs to the QNAP, quieter, and a bit more budget-friendly. Good all-rounder.
If you’re leaning toward a rackmount, take a look at:
QNAP TS-464eU-RP – Short-depth rack NAS with 4 bays and solid performance. Dual PSU option too.
Synology RS422+ – 4 bays, business-focused, very compact for a rack NAS. Not the strongest Plex performer, but great for file sharing.
With 60TB in mind and 2x parity, 6 bays would definitely give you more breathing room. But if budget pushes you to 4 bays, you could start with larger drives (say 16TB x4) and 1x parity for now, then scale up later with external units or expansion.
