The EXOS X20z HSMR (Hybrid Shingled Magnetic Recording) HDDs by Seagate are a specific line of enterprise-grade hard drives. These drives utilize a combination of CMR (Conventional Magnetic Recording) and SMR (Shingled Magnetic Recording) technologies. The hybrid nature allows for higher areal density and increased storage capacity.
