Hi

If we populate a DS920+ initially with three 16tb drives set to RAID 5, can we add a 4th 16tb drive at a later date?

Yes, you can start with one drive or more and add additional drives later on. Simply choose to expand your RAID option and it will add additional space to your existing RAID.
