After a year of research (you have been indispensable),
I’m taking the final steps toward purchasing:
UGREEN NASync DXP8800 Plus 8-Bay Desktop NAS
And
Six Seagate IronWolf Pro 28TB Enterprise NAS Internal HDD.
The UGREEN Canada compatibility graph for the DXP8800 Plus does not include the 28TB drives.
Am I about to make a huge mistake by purchasing and installing IronWolf’s 28TB HDDs into the UGREEN DXP8800 Plus?
Or
Is taking advantage of the Black Friday savings and combining these two product a cost-effective choice that will be compatible, fast, flexible, and a professional way access an extensive, catalogued database that can be expanded over the next few years without downsides?
