Hey there,
I have a QNAP TS-673A-8G turning up in the next few days and I have 2 x Crucial 32GB (1x32GB) CT32G4SFD832A 3200MHz SODIMM DDR4 RAM sticks that I want to install and the NAS will have Seagate ST8000VN004 8TB IronWolf drives going into it.
My question is in what order should I do the upgrade and get it going please?
Am I missing anything or have stuff in the wrong order?
Thank you!

- Leave the factory 8GB in it initially
- Install the drives
- Bootup and install the OS (I'm thinking QuTS Hero - as far as I can tell it will install with 8GB but will not have full functionality)
- Power it down and install the new RAM
- Power back up, check it can see and use the RAM and start putting files on it
Am I missing anything or have stuff in the wrong order?
Thank you!
