Hello, I currently have the Synology DS216+II and I am looking to upgrade it. I primarily use the NAS for storing and streaming movies and am looking at moving to 4K movies. I already have 2 x 4TB HDD's. What synology 2 bay would you recommend between the DS224+ and the DS723+. I thought the DS723 was not as good for 4K content, please advise.
Thank you

Based on your requirements, if you're primarily focused on 4K content and want the ability to transcode it, the Synology DS423+ would be a better choice compared to the DS723+. The DS723+ has a Ryzen CPU and can handle local 4K playback, but it may not perform as well for remote streaming of 4K content. On the other hand, the DS423+ is capable of transcoding 4K video using the Synology Video app, providing a smoother streaming experience.
