DS920+ memory

I was looking at your memory guide in the link below and noticed you had tested 16GB in the DS920+. This NAS has factory specs of a max of 8 GB, 4 on board and 4 expanded. Can you explain how this works and, if you know, why Synology wouldn't give that as a spec when the hardware can handle it.

Yes, Synology is trying to profit from its accessory sales. There is no logical reason to stop someone otherwise you would see Microsoft and Apple doing the same thing if it was true.
