NAS selection for backup and storaged?

#1
I am asking for advise on the choice of NAS to buy
1. Home set up = iMac desktop for photo editing
2. Internal HDD backed up via Time machine to a LACie 2Big doc connected via thunderbolt 3 connection
3. Photos are stored in ad Drobo 5 bay with Thunderbolt 2 connection - i edit directly from this drive. This drive is backed up the the cloud as are all my DAS to backblaze
4 I WANT TO ADD AD NAS IN THE HOUSE TO SYNC. WITH THE DROBO TO PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL COPY OF MY PHOTOS - I WOULD CONFIGURE A 4-5. BAY DRIVE WITH DOUBLE REDUNDANCY - WHICH NAS DO YOU RECOMMEND?

It depends on t speeds you want to get. A regular NAS comes with a 1Gbit (100MB/s) connection. Some new models feature 2.5Gbit. And some models have built-in 10Gbit or having PCIe to upgrade. You would need a Celeron based NAS as a minimum requirement to utilize 10Gbit. TS-453D would be a good option. But an n better choice would be a thunderbolt ready model which is a NAS at the same time TVS-472XT.I hope this helps.
