Help in Selecting NAS?

#1
Looking to get a NAS that would:
1. Backup my data (MacOS TimeMachine, iOS, etc.)
2. Allow me to setup my own VMs/ Servers/ etc. so I can install and test systems
3. Backup my cloud (OneDrive, GoogleDrive) independently without me needing to connect and sync with my computer
4. Not cost a million quids! Smile

I'm fairly technical and also willing to learn where I don't know things.

Appreciate your advice.

The cheapest option to do all this is TS-453Be. It has just enough power to share some of it for virtual machines and still be capable of doing backups and cloud sync. It is also fairly cheap. If you need something faster for virtualization then the TS-x73 series is a good choice. You will be able to install a GPU card if you need more graphic power on VMs or transcoding.I hope this helps.
