Looking for a nas that can handle 8 camera’s that have better than 1080 and still be used for file sharing thru plex as well for file back ups

Maybe consider Synology Xeon-based models such as ds1621xs+ or Qnap i5 based models such as TVS-674 that also allow GPU card upgrades. Or consider Qnap/Synology dedicated NVR solutions.
