NAS Hard Drives

#1
I am building a computer and I plan to include two hard drives in a Raid 1 configuration. Since I am using this arrangement as part of my overall backup strategy, should I use drives designed for NAS set ups like Ironwolf or Western Digital Red drives or go with those designed for desktop computers? Love your channel and thanks for your help.

NAS drives are made for 24/7 use. There are a lot of people using Barracuda drives for years with no problems though. Regarding reliability, NAS drives will last longer. RAOD0 / RAID1 is very forgiving regarding drives.
