nas

#1
Looking for a nas that has useful features and is for both home and small business. Plex or media storage is an added bonus.

Personally found QNAP TS 464 4G, DS920+, DS923+, ...
but wanting to be sure I make the right decisions because it is my first time buying a nas. What would you recommend or are there also other possibilities I have not seen yet?

Thank you,
- Riley

The Synology DS923+ is a great choice for those looking for easy remote access to their data thanks to QuickConnect. It also supports Synology Hybrid RAID (SHR), which allows for drive mixing and automatic volume expansion. It also has a good performance and powerful hardware.

On the other hand, QNAP may be a better choice if you are looking for a similar level of features and performance but at a lower price point. It also supports various RAID options like Synology, and have many other features similar to Synology NAS. However, QNAP does not include bare-metal backups of computers and servers, which is a feature that Synology NAS has.

Ultimately, the best choice for you will depend on your specific needs and budget. Both QNAP and Synology NAS are great options, so it's worth considering both and comparing their features and prices to see which one is the best fit for you.
