TS-251 with 8GB & J1800 CPU. I use PLEX on the NAS and want to improve the transcoding. How can I add a temporary transcode directory for PLEX on my NAS? What steps can I taking to improve transcoding of my videos so that they play properly. Need step by step as I am new to NAS, so guides and videos are appreciated.

This is a quite weak NAS. It could cope with the majority of HD content. But anything above will need offline transcoding.
