synology DS220+ data & storage, plus media to plex

Dear Sir,

I'm having a couple of problems with my NAS Synology DS220+ device? Firstly I have two 8TB hard drives that came with the device, how ever it only says I have 7TB not sure if I need to combind or something, I have tried grouping but still says only 7TB?
Secondly I have a full Plex account with approximately 10TB of media, I've been following your YouTube videos on transferring data and uploading media to Plex, however my files are still not showing on my plex?
Please please ease ? can you help I don't mind paying for you time and I don't mind you remote accessing to rectifying the issue.

Regarding storage capacity. 8TB drives actually do not have advertised space. http://www.endmemo.com/data/diskcapacity.php
Also, you may have selected mirroring RAID, which gives you a capacity of a single drive. The other drive keeps a copy of the first drive and does not give extra storage space to use.
