First off,l I have to tell you that I like your universal currency unit, NICKAH. It works best, when all device prices use that unit.

Secondly, I am having an extremely hard time understanding your obsession with power being supplied by USB C connections. Yes, I know that USB C can now supply more than 5. But that just adds to the confusion and there in lies the issue.
As a note, I am labeling all of my wall warts/ power bricks with the model number of the device that it came with and/or the voltage and Amperage .

Thanks for the message, and I’m really glad the NICKAH unit gave you a laugh. It was mainly meant to make price comparisons a bit more human, especially when manufacturers love to shuffle specs and prices in ways that confuse everyone.

On the USB C power topic, the reason it comes up so often is simple practicality. USB C power delivery is finally becoming a true universal standard, and people are tired of shelves full of wall warts with voltages all over the place. When a device uses USB C PD, it means one cable, one type of charger, and no guesswork in an emergency. The downside, as you pointed out, is that the flexibility also creates uncertainty because PD can mean 5 watts or over 200 watts depending on the profile. That confusion is exactly why many users want manufacturers to move toward consistent USB C PD standards, so we stop dealing with proprietary plugs and random power bricks.

Labeling your power bricks is a smart move and something I recommend to anyone with a growing stack of hardware. It saves an enormous amount of time later, especially when two identical looking bricks have totally different voltages.
