SIM Router connecting to anouther Router

#1
So I have a friend who lives in a country that only has access to the internet through cellular data. His options are limited to Routers that can take a SIM card. He is interested in getting an Asus gaming Router to take advantage of its hardware and software features. The issue is the Asus Router does not have a SIM card slot. Could he potentially use a SIM Card Router like the Nighthawk M6 5G and enable bridge mode then connect it to the Asus router's WAN port to act as a modem? The ROG Rapture GT-BE98 also supports 4G / 5G Auto Mobile Tethering through USB so I am guessing that might work as a backup.

Absolutely, your friend can leverage a SIM Card Router like the Nighthawk M6 5G and set it up in bridge mode. By connecting it to the Asus gaming router's WAN port, essentially using it as a modem, he can enjoy the hardware and software features of the Asus router while benefiting from the cellular data connectivity provided by the Nighthawk. This setup allows the Asus router to handle the network functionalities while the Nighthawk focuses on cellular data access. Additionally, the ROG Rapture GT-BE98's support for 4G/5G Auto Mobile Tethering through USB could serve as a reliable backup option, offering flexibility in case one of the connections faces any issues.

Yes, your friend can absolutely use a SIM card router like the Nighthawk M6 5G in bridge mode and connect it to the Asus ROG Rapture GT-BE98 via the WAN port. This setup would make the M6 5G act as a modem, passing the internet connection to the Asus router, which would handle the network management, gaming features, and advanced configurations.
