PLEX library settings and look retention

#1
I've rebuilt all my file names (15,000 videos), organized, up scaled video aspect where possible, and spent hours setting up the libraries on PLEX for Movies and TV shows augmenting the metadata with my poster art. I've done this a number of times and then had to start over. Is there a way to copy, backup, and retain not only the settings but the look and design of my PLEX library? Thanks!

To ensure your hard work on your PLEX library settings and customizations is retained, you'll want to back up your PLEX Media Server data. This includes not just your media files but also the metadata, posters, and all your customized settings. Here's a step-by-step guide to achieving this:

First, locate your PLEX Media Server data directory. The location varies depending on your operating system:

Windows: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server
Linux: /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/
