Ram Upgrade?

I have brought a Qnap TS-251D and i was wondering what the maximum amount of RAM that you would install into it. I know that officially 8 is the maximum but i have read on your blog that people and yourselves have tried 16 and 32 but i was just wondering what you would reccommend. I use it for media servers and for plex streaming and transcoding and very soon there shall be four users using it.

Yes, we have been testing it with 16GB, and this would be recommended maximum. But honestly, for Plex purpose, you don't need more than 8GB. People upgrade because they need this RAM for virtual machines.I hope this helps.
