Actually this is more of some feedback for you. I recently purchased a UGreen DH2300 NAS, which at first sight seemed great. However it it was missing Docker and it continually was contacting somewhere in China. After a few weeks of use it now seems to be faulty as it will not boot and only displays UGREEN banner. I had two new Toshiba N300 drives installed. Anyhow, although customer services is really responsive, they cannot arrange a pickup until 2nd January 2026 as their Customer Services are shut for 3 week. As this device is new it may be worth monitoring long term reliability

Thanks for sending this over. Feedback like this is very helpful for anyone considering these early Ugreen models.
The DH2300 looked good on first release, but what you are experiencing is exactly what tends to happen with very early firmware devices. Missing core features such as Docker, unexplained outbound traffic, and now the system freezing at the UGREEN splash screen all point to software that is simply not mature yet.
It is definitely something I will keep an eye on for long term reliability evaluation. The DH2300 is part of their lower cost range and it often takes several firmware cycles before these units become stable. Early units usually reveal issues just like the ones you found.
