Newer Crucial RAM module

#1
Hello,

Reading your article about upgrading DS220+ RAM module but I cannot find the Crucial RAM module for delivery that is posted in the article. I have found a "newer" (according to Amazon) RAM module - I'm unsure if it lives up to the same specifications?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Crucial-CT16G4SFRA32A-PC4-25600-SODIMM-260-Pin-dp-B08C511GQH/dp/B08C511GQH/ref=dp_ob_title_ce?th=1

Benefit of this RAM module is the availability in Denmark.

With regards,
Glenn

Yes, the module you linked — Crucial CT16G4SFRA32A — is indeed compatible with the Synology DS220+ for an unofficial memory upgrade. It's a DDR4-3200 SODIMM, and while the DS220+ officially supports DDR4-2666, faster modules like this one will simply downclock to the appropriate speed, which is perfectly fine.
