Qsync Central

#1
I have a QNAP, TS-216G device. Following your NAS Setup Guilde (2024) Part-3. I am unable to find the "Qnap, Qsync for windows (exe)" file to download on my PC. All I see are several QNAP vSphere files (not sure what they are). Is this unavaliable for my NAS? If so what are my alternatives?

Thanks, really enjoy your videos !!

Thanks for the kind words—really glad you're enjoying the videos!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble finding the Qsync for Windows download. You’re not alone—QNAP’s site can be a bit confusing at times with all the different tools listed. You should still be able to use Qsync with your TS-216G, assuming it’s running a relatively recent version of QTS.

Here’s the direct link to the Qsync for Windows client:

Just scroll down a little and look for Qsync (Windows)—there should be a .exe file you can download and install on your PC. Ignore the vSphere files, those are for virtualization and not what you need.

If, for any reason, your NAS or firmware doesn’t support Qsync anymore, the next best alternative would be using QNAP’s File Station with WebDAV or setting up myQNAPcloud for remote file access and syncing.
