Upgrade to new NAS

Can existing 2 x 4tb drives currently in a DS218J be transferred directly to DS923+ with no other action needed?

Hi, I've done this loads over the years and only ever had an issue once (the file system was incompatible, but I was warned about this and told that I WOULD lose data if i continued), you will need to reinstall any apps, but your data/settings should still be there, when you put the drives in let the unit boot up and login to it, and you should be welcomes with an upgrade screen, follow the steps, and you should be up and running in no time at all.
