Thanks for your offer of advice.
I'm new to NAS: wanting to have backup, redudancy, and access from outside the home. Currently have 2 TB of files stored, expecting that number to double.
From what I have read here, the QNAP TS-464 NAS seems a good (maybe the best?) choice for my needs.
