Just received the Asustor Flashstor Gen 2 and installed 64GB of ECC ram. The system only shows 32GB after booting and I also see a person that wrote to Redit and had the same problem in Australia. Did you happen to fully populate the memory? Also I'm not happy with the power connection. I moved the NAS to the side to check ports while initializing and it crashed.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Asustor Flashstor Gen 2. It seems like you're encountering a couple of issues with the memory and the power connection. Here are a few things to check and consider:
Memory Issue
If the system is only recognizing 32GB of the 64GB RAM, there could be a few potential causes:
Faulty RAM Module: Ensure both memory sticks are properly seated in their slots. Try reseating them to ensure they are properly connected.
Slot Compatibility: Double-check the manual or Asustor’s documentation to ensure the memory is being installed in the correct slots, as some systems might require specific slots to be populated first for dual-channel operation.
Firmware Update: Check if there’s a firmware update available for the Asustor Flashstor Gen 2, as the issue might be related to the system not fully recognizing the memory without the latest BIOS/firmware.
ECC Support: Ensure that the installed RAM is supported by the NAS. Some systems may have limitations when it comes to using ECC RAM, even though it's installed.
