Is DS120j for Cloud Sync enough ?

#1
Is DS120j enough powerful to use Cloud Sync without any issues or limitations ? My main goal would be to use the NAS to access my files like an external drive connected to a router and also to do the sync job without having to let my laptop running all day long. I wonder if the more powerful DS220j would be a better choice but I don't think I will use any Raid levels.

What is "Maximum number of files carried" ? Is it the maximum number of files I can move/copy/cut at a time ?

If you plan on not using a RAID then single bay model will be a better fit for purpose. DS120j will easily cope with this. The actual bottleneck is your broadband speed. But once the initial synchronisation is completed, incremental sync will not take long. But do consider old DS116 or DS118 . If this is your first NAS you will discover so many more things you can do with it. But j series would limit you.
