I have ds918+ with 28tb and 16gig ram
Using plex with 10 users never all at once
Transcoding set up as you indicated
Just wondering if any suggestions on
Ds1621xs

Nice upgrade from DS918+. Glad to help.No, Synology due to situations around the world has stopped their plans on releasing new models. Maybe towards the end of the year.I hope this helps.
