Is it possible to connect an iscsi target (a DroboProo) directly to an Synology (DS1821+ in my case) to use the DroboPro as a backup target for the Synologfy?

No, you can only back up on the Synology from a PC via ISCI. But you can connect Drobo via USB if it has a port like this.
