PCI Express NVMe Solid State Drives?

#1
I have a Synology DS1019+. 5x8TBs of storage.
I am a home user. Media streaming, Music Streaming, LAN/Cloud data back up and storage.
Might play around with making a website.

Do I need/want PCI Express NVMe Solid State Drives for the chace?
How do I pick a drive? are some PCI Express NVMe Solid State Drives NAS specific?

Thanks!

You will effeminately benefit from the SSD cache. Especially if you will run a website. You will need an NVME type cache. The most popular is the Samsung EVO 960 and 970. Other brands seem to be pioneers in NVME market. You can read a little more here https://nascompares.com/ssd-for-synology-cache-sata-nvme-ds918-ds1019-and-more/I hope this helps.
