Buy Synology DS918+ or DS1019+ now, or wait a few months for update?

Wondering if I should pull the trigger on a top of the line Synology 4-5 bay unit now, or if I should wait for whatever they have coming around the corner assuming I wont have to wait more than a few months. Just don't want to get something now then a nicer model comes out to replace it right away. Thanks for the advice, and keep the content coming

There might be DS918+ follow up, But certainly not for 1019+. New NAS would not differ much from the existing version. There is not much more innovation they want to add to this model apart from the newer CPU. Which would only benefit multimedia users. Regular NAS functions would not get many benefits.If this is going to be a file server, I would not wait. Anything else, I would wait a couple of months.I hope this helps.
