Data migration options - Enquiries - 08-19-2023 I have purchased a Synology 923+ with 4, 4TB drives configured as RAID 6 to replace a Drobo 5n with 5, 5TB drives configured as RAID 5. The Drobo has about 1.5 TB of data that needs to be migrated to the 923+. What is the most efficient method of migrating the data short of a direct file by file copy operation. Thanks for the advice. RE: Data migration options - ed - 08-23-2023 You could map both NAS together like this https://nascompares.com/map-network-drive-in-synology/ Or use USB backup drive. |
