My question is if this drive will work with my old Synology 420+.
16TB IronWolf Pro st16000ntz01
The site says ST16000NE000 is compatible, but fails to mention st16000ntz01.

Technically all SATA drives will work. The only difference is the warning message if drive is not found on their list. But this list can be altered manually on your NAS, if you wanted to.
