Is it OK for "regular" NAS folders to be subfolders of "Shared" folder? - rpwoodjr - 08-09-2023 In the process of moving data from DS216+II to DS1522+. I understand that the folder structure on the drive requires at least one "Shared" folder. On my old drive years ago I created one called "shared" and then regular folders for photos, video, and music; (all at the top level). On the new drive also created a shared folder (again, called "shared") but for some reason I created the other three folders as sub-folders under the shared folder. Note: I am the only user with no plans to set up other users or groups.)
