Looking for a UPS - Enquiries - 05-01-2023 Hey there! I have a DS920+ with 4 WD RED PLUS 14GB HDD and lately I have been suffering from short power outages in my area. I have decided to buy a UPS and I was wondering if you could give me some advice! My main concern here is the budget, I don't to connect everything to the UPS, just the NAS - connecting the router is a bonus. Ideally, I want something cheap that is compatible with my DS920 (I read something about the NAS switching to a "Safe mode" if it detects the UPS is running out of battery). Thanks in advance for your help! RE: Looking for a UPS - ed - 05-05-2023 One option to consider is the CyberPower CP1000AVRLCD Intelligent LCD UPS. It has a higher power output of 600 watts and also includes an LCD screen that displays real-time information about the UPS status. It has 9 outlets, including 5 battery backup outlets and 4 surge protection outlets, and comes with both USB and serial connectivity options for easy integration with your DS920+. PowerWalker UPS are usually cheap. You can find more info here https://nascompares.com/cheapest-ups-for-synology-qnap-nas/ |
