Plex server - Enquiries - 04-05-2023 I have recently purchased a Qnap TS-464 for Plex, I have been running Plex for a few years now from my windows pc. I have moved my media over to the NAS and setup Plex on it, however while doing so - likely out of my own stupidity - I have created a secondary Plex server, I am wondering if it is possible for me to have the NAS running my original server with all my users and watched info intact, then I can just disable the second server I created. I have tried following the Plex guide on transferring the server with no luck. Not as big of a concern but I have also noticed that some shows/movies are not appearing in my new plex library but are available if I search for them. Thank you for your time, love the work you guys are doing, keep it up. RE: Plex server - ed - 04-05-2023 That's nothing bad. I have few different NASes linked all together (claim the server when logged in). On a TV I can access media from all NAS systems all in one place. Here is more about migration https://support.plex.tv/articles/201370363-move-an-install-to-another-system/ |
