Streaming DS Video Station Outside LAN/home network - Enquiries - 04-03-2023
I have a Synology DS1522+ with Video Station installed. I can stream my videos over my LAN without issue, but when I'm away from home, none of my videos will play.
A pop-up appears that says "Error. The video cannot be played."
I assume there is a setting somewhere I need to change, I just can't figure out what that would be.

You may need to check if your videos are h264. Synology recently disabled HEVC (i guess not willing to pay for h265 licence).
Also make sure this is installed https://www.synology.com/en-uk/dsm/packages/CodecPack?os_ver=7.1
