Choose between DS218 & DS415+ - Enquiries - 03-23-2023
Hi, I'm currently searching to buy a Synology NAS for my home. My two options are currently the Synology DS218 and the DS415+ as I'll be buying them used from ebay due to my budget.
However my concern is due to the processors and ram as one uses ddr4 and the other ddr3. Which one would you recommend me? I'll be using it as a Minecraft server, plex, cloud/network storage for home phones/pcs and to record my camaras.

Both of these are quite old. I would pick ds415+.
But for myself I would go for ds220+, ds423+ .
