Choosing DAS for Video Editing - Enquiries - 02-28-2020

Hi there,
I'm a one-man band videomaker and I think NAS will be slower and more expensive. I'm looking at TR-004 now, what are possible alternatives?
And choosing HDDs is there a significant noise difference between 5400 and 7200 drives? I'd go with 5400 to have the peace of mind when this thing is next to me all day.

Thanks!
Dennis

RAID0 or RAID10 could potentially deliver enough speed to be able to edit 4K videos. USB3 g1 speed is around 500MB/s in theory, but all you need is around 300MB/s bandwidth. TR series can be connected also to existing NAS. And its hardware RAID functionality really speeds up things.I hope this helps.
