Simplest 2 bay home NAS - Enquiries - 02-08-2023

Hi
I’m looking for an idiot proof NAS to store my photos on, also my music with the ability to use Google home. And Time Machine backup. Also access to my iPhone iPad
I’m 68 years old and was using a Drobo but it’s gone wrong with no support.
I want to keep the price down but need somewhere to save my data.
Many thanks
Duncan

PS really enjoy your videos and it would seem synology is easier to use than Qnap

For your needs, a Synology NAS should be a good choice. The Synology DSM operating system is user-friendly and easy to navigate, making it a good option for those who may not be as familiar with technology. A good option for you would be the Synology DiskStation DS220j, which is an affordable and easy-to-use 2-bay NAS. It has support for Time Machine backup, as well as mobile access through the Synology mobile app. Additionally, it has integration with Google Home for music streaming and supports both Apple's Time Machine for Mac backup and the ability to access your data from your iPhone and iPad.
