entry-level NAS drive for home use - Enquiries - 12-20-2022

Can you recommend an entry-level NAS drive fitted with SSD, for storing mainly music CDs (connected to Sonos system) and mainly text documents?
I find that most if not all suppliers direct me to HDDs, which I don't want.
Many thanks

It really depends on what you call entry level.  Does entry level mean the cheapest?  I believe you can put an 2.5" SSD in DS923+ for example.

Pretty much any NAS will support SATA SSD in those HDD bays. I would recommend Synology DS218play or ds220+. You will be able to choose between older SMB versions which might be a necessity to connect SONOS.

I hope this helps.
