NAS or SAN advice - Enquiries - 12-13-2022

Hello,
I own a start-up company that is active in the game testing industry and we want to buy a NAS or a SAN, but can't decide which one.
We need the NAS for data storage mostly and backup since we want to keep our game builds on it so that all of us can access them. We also want to keep pictures and documents there.
I would also want to keep my website on it, since I want all the things to be in one place, instead of having a server hosting it for only 400mbs storage.
Thank you.

I would recommend something with NVMe caching slots such as DS923+. Read-write cache will ensure your repetitious data requests will be server by SSD and not HDD volume. This speeds things up significantly. Or even better, create a volume from NVMe.
Backup is easy with Synology. It allows MAC, WIN, Linux and mobile device backups with a single click.

I hope this helps.
